This policy explains what personal information Much Cleaner Limited collects when you enquire about or book a clean, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the rights you have over it.
1. Who we are
Much Cleaner Limited ("Much Cleaner", "we", "us") is the data controller for the information described in this policy. We are a cleaning company operating across London.

2. What we collect
We only collect what we need to quote for and carry out a clean.
When you submit an enquiry or booking
- About you — your name, email address and phone number.
- Whether you are a letting agent, landlord, business or tenant, and your company or agency name where you give one.
- About the property — the address, property type, number of bedrooms, bathrooms and WCs, whether carpet cleaning is needed, the condition of the property, and any extras.
- About the job — your preferred and alternative dates, how we will get access, and any notes you add.
- The price you were quoted and the breakdown behind it.
Automatically
- A one-way encrypted version of your IP address when you submit a form. We cannot reverse this to recover your IP. It exists only to stop the same source flooding us with automated submissions.
- Standard server logs kept by our hosting provider for security and reliability.
We do not ask for payment card details through this website, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.
3. Why we use it, and our lawful basis

We do not use your information to make automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects. The instant price shown on the website is a quote based on the details you enter, not a decision about you.
4. Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with the suppliers who help us run the business, and only so far as they need it:
- Brevo (Sendinblue, France) — sends our notification and reply emails and holds our contact records.
- Vercel (USA) — hosts this website and processes form submissions.
- Supabase (hosted in the EU) — our internal job and customer management system.
- Our cleaning staff — given the property address, access details and job notes they need to carry out the work, and nothing more.
- Our accountant, insurers and professional advisers, where required.
- Letting agents or landlords where they arranged the clean, so they can be told the job is done and be invoiced for it.
We will also disclose information if the law requires it, or to establish or defend legal claims.
5. Transfers outside the UK
Some of our suppliers are based outside the UK. Where personal information is transferred outside the UK, we rely on UK adequacy regulations or on standard contractual clauses approved for use in the UK, together with additional safeguards where needed.
6. How long we keep it

7. Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you.
- Correct it if it is wrong or incomplete.
- Erase it, where we no longer have a good reason to keep it.
- Restrict or object to how we use it, including objecting to direct marketing at any time.
- Portability — receive certain information in a machine-readable format.
- Withdraw consent at any time, where we relied on consent.
To exercise any of these, email hello@muchcleaner.co.uk. We will respond within one month. There is no charge unless a request is clearly unfounded or excessive.
8. Cookies and third-party content
This website does not set advertising or tracking cookies, and does not use cookie-based analytics.
We load fonts from Google Fonts, which means your browser makes a request to Google's servers and Google receives your IP address as part of that request. Our hosting provider also sets essential cookies needed to serve and secure the site.
Note for Much Cleaner: if you later add Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, or any other advertising or analytics tag, this section must be rewritten and the site will need a cookie consent banner before those tags are allowed to fire. Ask before adding one.
9. How we protect your information
Access to our systems is restricted to people who need it, protected by individual accounts, and our website and internal systems are served over encrypted connections. Our cleaning staff are DBS checked and we are fully insured.
10. Complaints
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your personal information, please tell us first at hello@muchcleaner.co.uk so we can put it right.
You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), the UK's data protection regulator, at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint or on 0303 123 1113.
11. Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle personal information we will update this page and change the date at the top. Where a change is significant we will tell affected customers directly.
